Drew Schiller

Drew is co-founder and CEO at Validic, the leading digital health platform for personal health data. He frequently writes and speaks on digital health, AI in healthcare, the future of AI in the workplace, and entrepreneurship. He is on the Health Division Board and Board of Industry Leaders of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), where he helps advance the industry through CTA policy efforts and involvement with the CTA Health Standards Subdivision. Drew previously served on the CTA Executive Board and was the Health Division Board Chair.
Drew is a founding member of the AWS Health Tech Advisory Council and serves on the ANDHealth International Investment Committee. He was a past member of the Highmark Health Technology Advisory Group and the Executive Committee and Board for the North Carolina Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED). Drew was a Board Member for Executives for Health Innovation (eHI) and a Team Member for the Clinical Trials Transformation Institute (CTTI) project Advancing the Use of Mobile Technologies for Data Capture & Improved Clinical Trials. He also served on the Federal Advisory Committee joint HITPC/HITSC API Task Force on Meaningful Use 3.
Before co-founding Validic, Drew started and managed an award-winning web development firm for eight years. He also founded and exited a niche dietary nutrition website for patients with celiac disease, and served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Iowa, teaching graduate courses in web development and usability.
Drew lives in Chapel Hill, NC, with his wife, two sons, and family dogs. He enjoys design, technology, writing, reading, running, great food, and good coffee.
