With new information available from wearables, apps, and in-home health devices, patient-generated health data offers an opportunity for deeper insights within clinical trials. Though many leaders may be hesitant to introduce new data points, the incorporation of this information into trials surrounding the most relevant use cases, and the development of proper data standards, can inform more meaningful insights within trials.
